Overview
WSQ Resource Management is a SkillFuture-approved 16-hour course delivered within a span of 2 days with 14 hours of training and 2 hours of assessment.
Objectives
On completion of this course, participants will have the abilities and knowledge in Technical Skill and Competencies (TSC) at the workplace. These include:

AB5. Develop procedures and systems to monitor and evaluate resource usage.
AB6. Review resource usage to determine sufficiency and optimal utilisation. AB7. Propose improvements to optimise resource usage.
AB8. Review resource management outcomes to ascertain refinements to resource allocation plan.
AB9. Develop resource management key performance indicators.

Learning Outcomes
This unit covers knowledge and application skills in equipping oneself to identify root causes and underlying factors of problems or situations and deduce relevant linkages and patterns to identify key impact on systems and processes.

As part of the assessment, each candidate is required to:
- Complete a Written Assessment.
- Complete a Case Study Assessment.
Candidate will be considered competent when all learning outcomes/evidence are fulfilled as per assessment checklist. All assessments must be completed individually.
Written Assessment:
- This is a summative, open-book assessment.
- The duration for this assessment is 45 minutes.
- Candidate will be considered competent if he/she is able to answer all questions correctly based on: AB1, AB3, AB5, KN1, KN3.
- Oral inquiry will be used should there be insufficient evidence for this assessment.
Case Study Assessment:
- This is a summative, open-book assessment.
- The duration for this assessment is 75 minutes.
- Candidate will be considered competent if he/she is able to answer all questions correctly based on:AB2, AB4,AB6, AB7, AB8, AB9, KN2.
- Oral inquiry will be used should there be insufficient evidence for this assessment.
