Overview

Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) Equipment Management and Venue Management is a 16-hour SkillsFuture-approved course delivered within a span of 2 days with 14 hours of training and 2 hours of assessment.

It covers the management of resources for operation and maintenance of equipment required for MICE events, including relevant venues, facilities, and equipment.

  1. Written Assessment (45 mins)
  2. Case Study Assessment (75 mins)

Candidates will be considered competent when all learning outcomes/evidence are fulfilled as per assessment checklist.

 

Written Assessment:

  • This is a continual, open-book assessment.
  • The duration for this assessment is 45 minutes.
  • Candidate will be considered competent if he/she is able to answer all 5 questions correctly based on: AB2, AB3, AB4, AB5, KN2, KN3, KN4, KN6, KN8, KN9
  • Oral inquiry will be used should there be insufficient evidence for this assessment.

 

Case Study Assessment:

  • This is a continual, open-book assessment.
  • The duration for this assessment is 75 minutes.
  • Candidate will be considered competent if he/she is able to answer all 10 questions correctly based on: AB1, AB5, AB6, AB7, KN1, KN4, KN5, KN6, KN7, KN9
  • Oral inquiry will be used should there be insufficient evidence for this assessment.
