Overview
WSQ Crisis Management is a SkillsFuture-approved 16-hour course delivered within a span of 2 days with 14 hours of training and 2 hours of assessment.
Objectives
On completion of this course, participants are expected to have the abilities and knowledge in Technical Skill and Competencies (TSC) at the workplace. These include:

AB1. Allocate resources to manage response-handling in accordance with crisis management plans
AB2. Identify crisis response and recovery activities for implementation in accordance with recovery strategies and business continuity strategies to ensure alignment of activities
AB3. Document crisis response and recovery activities data in accordance with information format requirements to facilitate follow-up actions
AB4. Implement ‘return-to-normal’ procedures in accordance with crisis management plans to ensure alignment of activities
AB5. Communicate organisational crisis management key messages to relevant stakeholders to provide updates
AB6. Review crisis management processes to identify areas for improvement |

Learning Outcomes
This unit covers knowledge and application skills in allocating resources to handle a crisis, identifying crisis response and recovery activities to be implemented, documenting activities and implementing return-to-normal procedures and communicating key messages to relevant stakeholders.

As part of the requirements, each candidate is required to complete a Written Assessment and a Case Study Assessment. Candidates will be considered competent when all learning outcomes / evidence are fulfilled as per assessment checklist.

- Summative open-book assessment
- Duration is 60 minutes
- Candidate will be considered competent if he / she is able to answer all questions correctly based on AB1, AB2, AB5, KN1, KN2, KN3, KN4, KN5
- Oral inquiry to be used should there be insufficient evidence of competency
Case Study Assessment
